Grab Bag vol. 12

Why start with 1 when you can start with 12?

Why start with 1 when you can start with 12?

Magnolia never disappoints
  1. Been a Minute. But seriously. It’s been a busy winter with limited time and even less headspace. The one fun little escape was watching Season 2 of Severance and that I did enjoy; atmospheric, intriguing, and surprisingly social, as we debated theories and looked for clues.

  2. Speaking of nice escapes, there has been plenty of running this winter (by me - also, others) though that has been a solid mixed bag. I’ve had some amazing moments, but they have been sprinkled in the middle of some sizable rough patches. It can be a tough thing to love.

  3. I’m reading a book called Brief Flashings in the Phenomenal World by a runner named Katie Arnold. It’s a nonfiction book about finding zen through running. I’m not very far yet. Maybe it’ll help.

  4. My new favorite smoothie

  5. I raced a 50k earlier this month (Gorge Waterfalls) which was stunningly beautiful and I certainly have a lot of Thoughts (too many thoughts). Today, we’re not doing many words - I’m just trying to get something out there again! But more on this later. I promise. I’m working on it.

  6. I turned 34! I got to eat cupcakes with friends and spend some days in a cabin in the woods, surrounded by lush greenery and soft moss.

  7. My One Photo A Day is coming along well this year!

  8. My favorite podcasts at the moment: The Seth Meyers and Lonely Island Podcast (Quaid Army!!) and Your Diet Sucks.

If you received this post via email, you’re one of the (2) people who subscribed to my email list! I’ll be sending Grab Bag posts via newsletter in addition to posting here so you don’t have to think about checking, and I’ll be sure to point you to longer blog posts if and when I ever manage to write something cohesive again.
