Claude Code Launches Routines: Scheduled, API-Triggered, and GitHub-Driven Agents in the Cloud
Anthropic · Apr 15
Anthropic has released Routines for Claude Code, a feature that turns saved prompts, repos, and connectors into cloud-hosted sessions that run without human approval. Each Routine can be fired on a schedule, hit via a per-Routine HTTPS endpoint with a bearer token, or triggered automatically by GitHub pull_request and release events. By default, Claude can only push to claude/-prefixed branches. Live on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans.
