Anthropic Lays Out Its Safeguards for the 2026 US Midterm Elections
Anthropic sampled about 250,000 US Claude.ai conversations from September 21 to 27 and found 0.51% concerned elections or voting and roughly 0.002% broke its election integrity policies. Its Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5, and Haiku 5.5 models each scored 99% on a political evenhandedness test, and Claude is adding official state voting information from Democracy Works. |
