Two Special Announcements

There are two special announcements I want you to notice:
Serving Christ in Ottawa
This Friday at 12pm, everyone is invited to join a conversation with Tabitha Ewert. Tabitha is a friend of mine who works in Ottawa, Canada as the legal counsel and spokesperson for “We Need A Law” (here’s her staff page).The purpose of this organization is to save the lives of unborn children by advocating for legal restrictions on abortion.
I invited Tabitha to share with the teenagers about she has served Christ through her education and career, and I’ve also asked her to share about her work advocating for the unborn.
It turns out that many of our teens are away this week, so I’d be glad for lots of adults and younger kids to join us. We might even have some pizza for you, if you let me know that you’re coming.
VBS Meeting
VBS is now only a few weeks away, and we have more than 40 kids registered to attend! So, it’s time for volunteers to meet in order to prepare and plan. If you intend to help with VBS, please meet in the fellowship hall this Sunday after the morning service.
