Present Sufferings; Future Glory (Announcements for 24 July)
Hi Everyone,
Because of sin we experience sufferings in the present day. We learn from Romans chapter 8 that even creation is groaning and awaiting a future. Thankfully, we can live in hope because of God’s promise for the future, relying on the Spirit in our weaknesses, and praying to grow into greater conformity to Christ.
This Sunday morning our pulpit is filled by our former pastor, retired OPC minister Donald Buchanan. We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper during the morning service. Jonathan Bartlett is preaching during the evening service.
Plan to be present for our monthly Fellowship lunch following the morning service. Please bring a main dish and a salad or dessert to share.
Sincerely,
Elder Lemen
