Hi Everyone,
Nathaniel Vroom will preach this Sunday and teach the Adult Sunday School class.
During the morning worship service we will celebration the Lord’s Supper. An offering will be taken for the work of the Deacons during the singing of the closing hymn.

The Lord’s Day
Sunday school this week is at 9:45 am.
The children’s Sunday school meets in two classes, both using Great Commissions Publications curricula.
Adult Sunday School Class. The class will be taught by Mr. Vroom.
The morning service is at 11:00 am. The sermon will be "False Righteousness" from Mark 7:1-23.
The evening service is at 5:00 pm. The sermon will be “Our Unchanging God" from Malachi 3:6-7.
Through the Week
Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday. At 6 pm there is a shared meal. Prayer is at 7:15 pm at church and on Zoom. During the prayer time there are activities at the church for children up to the age of 6 years old.
Ladies’ Bible Study is on recess until June 5, when the summer reading plan will begin. More details to come.
Men’s Book Study is on Thursday evening at 8:15 pm via Zoom. The men are reading J. Gresham Machen’s Christianity and Liberalism. This week the study is from Chapter 7, pages 157-169.

Women’s Event – Humble Hospitality: Practical How-Tos – Friday, May 19, 7 to 9 pm at the Lemen’s home. Join us for fellowship, fondue and a fireside chat about practical hospitality. Feel free to bring a friend. RSVP to Joy Loh or Ladies Signal Group.

Church camping: A group from the church will be camping at Sanborn County Park, from Friday June 9th to Saturday June 10th. You are welcome to come! Please speak to Scott Porter if you would like to join, or if you have any questions.
For those who want to camp, we have reserved the Group Campsite that can host 35 campers.
It is important to note that it is a 0.4mi walk-in to the site so bringing a wagon or cart is recommended
Bikes are not allowed in the campground
Gates are closed at sunset and there is no re-entry after gates close
For the campsite check-in is at 3pm on 6/9 and checkout is 1pm on 6/10
The campsite has one large grill, a food box, three picnic tables, a few fire rings, and a couple benches
Campers will probably go on a short hike Saturday morning.
After camping, we are planning to transition to the Ohlone Group Area for a picnic starting around 11am. Everyone from the church is invited to attend whether you were part of the camping or not.
There is a $6 entrance fee to the park
