Brenzel Blessing Basket
The Mercy Ministry Team would like to bless a member and family with a basket filled with their preferences. In October/November we are collecting items for Jim and Mical Brenzel. We would especially like to encourage Jim as it is difficult for him with his ongoing serious medical issues and to encourage Mical who is his only caregiver at home. Please see the list below and donate to the basket if you are able. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
Items for Blessing Basket for the Brenzel family
1. Cookies (especially shortbread and oatmeal raisin – Mical loves these.)
2. Chocolate (Jim loves See’s Chocolate)
3. Coffee (Deep Roasted)
4. Tea (Mical loves Chai Tea)
5. Favorite lotion/soap – (Mical enjoys citrus, coconut, and winter spice scents)
6. Hobbies/interests – read about politics/economics, travel to places of scenic beauty and historical interest.
7. Favorite reading material – Jim reads the WSJ (on paper) and Investors Business Daily (on paper, weekly). Mical enjoys reading a mix of books (currently it is C.S. Lewis), newspapers (Epoch Times, WSJ, and podcasts/electronic newsletters (The Daily Wire, Our Daily Bread).
8. Favorite flower/plants – Jim loves rhododendrons and azaleas.
9. Favorite music – classical music (chamber music, orchestral, choral – not operatic).
10. Since they both like to travel, a VISA gift card would be appreciated so they can use it at restaurants or for other travel expenses.
Note: No dairy (lactose), no nuts, popcorn, and hot/spicy foods. Perishable food items can be labeled and placed in the refrigerator on December 4. Thank you.
Please email Suzy Anvar (suzyanvar@yahoo.com) or text 650.575.5344 if you would like to participate in donating an item for the blessing basket. Thank you in advance for your generosity. (We may need to reassign you if there are too many of one item.)
Turn in the items by Sunday, December 4 morning worship service. (Please put items in the red basket on the kitchen counter labeled “for Brenzel family gift basket” Thank you.) You can also turn in non-perishable food early to Suzy.
