The Lord’s Day
Sunday school is at 9:45 am. The adult class is covering a short series on the topic of prayer.
The children’s Sunday school (9:45 am) meets in two classes, both using Great Commissions Publications curricula.
The morning service is at 11:00 am. The sermon will be "Rightly Dividing" from 1 Kings 3:16-28.
The evening service is at 5:00 pm. The sermon will be “Comfort My People" from Isaiah 40:1-5.
Through the Week
Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday evening at 7:15 pm, at church and on Zoom. See the note below for more information.
Ladies’ Bible Study is on Thursday evening at 7:00 pm via Zoom. This week the study in Nancy Guthrie’s book “The Lamb of God” will be on “In the Wilderness” (Numbers). Complete the Personal Bible Study (pages 217-220)
Men's Book Study is on Thursday evening at 8:15 pm via Zoom. This week will be Chapter 12 “Sin’s Envy” of “Knowing Sin” by Mark Jones.
Looking Ahead
New format for Wednesday Prayer Meeting
Wednesday, 2 November we will try out a new format for our mid-week prayer meeting. At 6 pm, there will be a shared meal for all who would like to join. At 7:15 pm we will have our usual Bible study and prayer time. During that time, there will be an activity for children up to about 6 years old. We will aim to be done at about 8:15 pm. Please let Pastor Goligher know if you are planning to join for dinner.
Youth games night
On Friday 4 November the youth are invited for pizza dinner and a games night at Elliott Van Hartingsveldt’s home. Dinner will be at 6 pm.
CityTeam Volunteer opportunity on 17 December
The church has an upcoming volunteer opportunity with CityTeam on 17 December, 9 am-12 pm to provide Warehouse Support for food packaging at 1297 North 13th Street, San Jose, CA 95112. Christmas Eve service
On Friday 24 December at 5 pm we will hold a Christmas Eve service of Scripture lessons and Christmas carols. Mark your calendars and plan to invite friends and family!
