This Sunday Pastor Goligher preaches during the morning service and Pastor Ben Ciavolella, Delta Oaks OPC, Pittsburgh, CA returns to preach during the evening service.

The Lord’s Day
Sunday school this week is at 9:45 am.
The children’s Sunday school meets in two classes, both using Great Commissions Publications curricula.
Adult Sunday School Class. This week Karl Rauta, Sr. will teach Chapter 16, “Teaching Children Piety” from Joel Beeke’s book, Parenting by God’s Promises.
The morning service is at 11:00 am. The sermon will be "The Justified Life" from Romans 5:1-5.
The evening service is at 5:00 pm. The sermon will be “Pity" from Jonah 4.
Through the Week
Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday. At 6 pm there is a shared meal. Prayer is at 7:15 pm at church and on Zoom. During the prayer time there are activities at the church for children up to the age of 6 years old.
Ladies’ Summer Reading using Mark Jones’ Faith, Hope, Love. This week is Question 26.
Park days for moms and kids on Thursdays at 10 am in Washington Park in Sunnyvale every week during the summer. If you have any questions, speak to Betsie Porter.
Looking Ahead
VBS Volunteers Meeting: On Tuesday, August 1 at 7:30pm, there will be a Zoom meeting for all VBS volunteers. Please let Pastor Calvin know if you cannot make it.
VBS is one week away: August 7-11. Over 70 children are registered, so please pray for the participants and the volunteers.
Fall Bible Conference: On Saturday and Sunday September 9-10, we will have a guest preacher, Dr. Craig Carter, a theologian and minister in Ontario. The theme of the weekend will be "Isaiah's Message for the Modern World." Dr. Carter will also lead two pre-conference events related to C.S. Lewis's book The Abolition of Man.
