Announcements for 26 February
Hi Everyone,
This week Mr. Joseph Gehrmann will preach during the morning service. Mr. Gehrmann is a fourth-year student of Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, and our session has invited Mr. Gehrmann to be our pastoral intern this summer. He will also teach Adult Sunday class.
Pastoral Intern Jonathan Bartlett will preach for the evening service.

The Lord’s Day
Sunday school this week is at 9:45 am.
The children’s Sunday school meets in two classes, both using Great Commissions Publications curricula.
Adult Sunday School Class. Mr. Joseph Gehrmann will teach the class this week.
Teens Sunday School Class. Pastor Goligher is teaching a Sunday School class for the teens using the book of Romans.
The morning service is at 11:00 am. The sermon will be " The Last Word" from Hebrews 1:1-3.
The evening service is at 5:00 pm. The sermon will be “Authority Displayed" from Mark 1:21-34.
Through the Week
Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday. At 6 pm there is a shared meal – please let Pastor Goligher know if you plan to join for dinner. Prayer will be at 7:15 pm, at church and on Zoom. During the prayer time there are activities at the church for children up to the age of 6 years old.
Ladies’ Bible Study is on Thursday evening at 7 pm via Zoom, using the book The Son of David by Nancy Guthrie. This week the study will be in “Ruth.” Read the Teaching Chapter (pgs. 95-109). Complete the discussion questions on pages 110-112.
Men’s Book Study is on Thursday evening at 8:15 pm via Zoom. The men are reading J. Gresham Machen’s Christianity and Liberalism. This week’s study will cover Chapter 2, pages 41b-53.
Looking Ahead
Church Picnic in the Park: 11 March 2023 at 11 am in Fairwood Park, Sunnyvale. Box lunches will be provided but it will require an RSVP. Watch your email for further information.
Foreign Missions Conference: You are invited to Trinity Presbyterian North Bay in Petaluma, on Saturday April 22, from 10am-3pm. Mike McCabe, OPC missionary to China, will be present to share about his work in building God's kingdom in a country that is firmly closed to the Gospel. Church camping: A group from the church will be camping at Sanborn County Park, from Friday June 9th to Saturday June 10th. You are welcome to come! Please speak to Scott Porter if you would like to join, or if you have any questions.
