Announcements for 25 June
Hi Everyone,
Pastor Michael Grasso (South San Francisco) will fill the pulpit on Sunday during the morning service. Pastor Grasso and Pastor Goligher are doing a “pulpit swap.”
The Fellowship Lunch will be after the morning worship service.
Our church will be used by a couple from the South San Francisco congregation on 1 July 2023 for their wedding and we need a few volunteers. If you can help, please speak to Pastor Goligher.
We will next celebrate the Lord’s Supper on 9 July 2023.

The Lord’s Day
Sunday school this week is at 9:45 am.
The children’s Sunday school meets in two classes, both using Great Commissions Publications curricula.
Adult Sunday School Class. We are doing a study of the kings of the Old Testament.
The morning service is at 11:00 am. The sermon will be "Christ as Prophet on the Cross" from Romans 3:21-26.
The evening service is at 5:00 pm. The sermon will be “Glory to Go Around " from 1 Corinthians 11:2-16.
Through the Week
Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday. At 6 pm there is a shared meal. Prayer is at 7:15 pm at church and on Zoom. During the prayer time there are activities at the church for children up to the age of 6 years old.
Ladies’ Summer Reading using Mark Jones’ Faith, Hope, Love. This week is Question 21.
Park days for moms and kids on Thursdays at 10 am in Washington Park in Sunnyvale every week during the summer. If you have any questions, speak to Betsie Porter.
Looking Ahead
Lord’s Supper will next be celebrated on 9 July 2023.
Fall Bible Conference: On Saturday and Sunday September 9-10, we will have a guest preacher, Dr. Craig Carter, a theologian and minister in Ontario. The theme of the weekend will be "Isaiah's Message for the Modern World." Dr. Carter will also lead two pre-conference events related to C.S. Lewis's book The Abolition of Man.
