Announcements for 16 July
Hi Everyone,
We welcome Pastor Conley Owens, Silicon Valley Reformed Baptist, Sunnyvale, to fill our pulpit during the morning worship service. Pastor Ben Ciavolella, Delta Oaks OPC, Pittsburgh, California, will preach during the evening service.
After the morning worship service will be the Fellowship Luncheon. Please plan to bring a main dish and a salad or dessert to share.
Next Sunday we will welcome to our pulpit, associate Pastor-elect, Nathaniel Vroom. Nathaniel will also teach the adult Sunday class next Sunday.

The Lord’s Day
Sunday school this week is at 9:45 am.
The children’s Sunday school meets in two classes, both using Great Commissions Publications curricula.
Adult Sunday School Class. We are doing a study of the kings of the Old Testament.
The morning service is at 11:00 am. The sermon will be "The Pleasant Vineyard" from Isaiah 27:2-6.
The evening service is at 5:00 pm. The sermon will be “The Fugitive" from Jonah 1.
Through the Week
Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday. At 6 pm there is a shared meal. Prayer is at 7:15 pm at church and on Zoom. During the prayer time there are activities at the church for children up to the age of 6 years old.
Ladies’ Summer Reading using Mark Jones’ Faith, Hope, Love. This week is Question 24.
Park days for moms and kids on Thursdays at 10 am in Washington Park in Sunnyvale every week during the summer. If you have any questions, speak to Betsie Porter.
Looking Ahead
Fall Bible Conference: On Saturday and Sunday September 9-10, we will have a guest preacher, Dr. Craig Carter, a theologian and minister in Ontario. The theme of the weekend will be "Isaiah's Message for the Modern World." Dr. Carter will also lead two pre-conference events related to C.S. Lewis's book The Abolition of Man.
