This Sunday we will enjoy our first Fellowship Luncheon of the year. Please plan to bring a main dish and a salad or a dessert to share.

The Lord’s Day
Sunday school this week is at 9:45 am.
The children’s Sunday school meets in two classes, both using Great Commissions Publications curricula.
Adult Sunday School Class on Parenting. Jonathan Bartlett is teaching the class based on Joel Beeke's book Parenting By God's Promises. This is an excellent book on a very important and practical topic. We encourage everyone to attend, especially parents!
Teens Sunday School Class. This week Pastor Goligher will begin teaching a Sunday School class for teens using the book of Romans.
The morning service is at 11:00 am. The sermon will be "Let God Be True" from Romans 3:1-8.
The evening service is at 5:00 pm. The sermon will be “How the Mighty Fall" from 1 Kings 11.
Offering Receipts. Tax receipts are scheduled to be distributed in person on January 22 and January 29, 2023. If you do not receive yours in person, it will be mailed to you on January 31. Please contact Deacon Stan Liao (stan.liao@acm.org) if you have any questions.
Through the Week
Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday. At 6 pm there is a shared meal – please let Pastor Goligher know if you plan to join for dinner. Prayer will be at 7:15 pm, at church and on Zoom. During the prayer time there will be activities at the church for children up to the age of 6 years old.
Ladies’ Bible Study is on Thursday evening at 7 pm via Zoom, using the book The Son of David by Nancy Guthrie. This week the study will be on “Joshua.” Please read pages 33-40.
Men’s Book Study is on Thursday evening at 8:15 pm via Zoom. This week will be Chapter 16 “Sin’s Temptations” of Knowing Sin by Mark Jones.
Looking Ahead
The Annual Congregational Meeting will be on Wednesday, 1 February 2023 at 7pm at the church. Inputs for the annual report are due on 22 January.
Snow Rally
All teens (ages 12-18) are invited to the presbytery’s Snow Rally at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church in Sonora. The event starts on Friday afternoon, February 24. On Saturday the 25th, the teens will go snow-tubing at a nearby mountain. Teens may return home on Saturday evening, or stay over for Sunday worship at Oak Hill. The speaker this year is Rev. Gene Crow, the pastor of Redding Reformed Fellowship. More details will be announced soon, but mark your calendars now if you are interested in joining.
