Firo Frontier Newsletter - Vol. 2 No. 13

Firo Frontier · November 5, 2025

Firo Frontier provides a brief summary of what's been happening in Firo over the past few weeks.

In search of crypto’s best privacy …

Firo Turns 9!

It has been nine exciting years of building financial privacy, innovating with Lelantus Spark, and pushing forward private digital cash.

FIRO was the first coin to launch ZK privacy on mainnet (1 month before $ZEC), first coin to deploy Dandelion++ live, held the first political elections on blockchain in 2018 and is still the only coin with private instant transactions. $FIRO 9 years and still building!
None of this would be possible without the support of our amazing community, both old and new, and the broader privacy ecosystem that stands alongside us. Thank you for being part of this journey Firofam.

Cedric Crispin Mining pool enables Spark payouts and Spark Name support

Cedric-Crispin.com a Firo mining pool has enabled the ability to receive payouts to Spark addresses and to use Spark Names to setup your username on their site. This will add additional privacy when mining your Firo! Just enter your Spark address or Spark Name instead of a transparent Firo address on the Cedric-Crispin site when setting up your mining account.

DataVEX now Supports Firo masternodes

DataVEX, a new masternode hosting provider, has added Firo to its list of supported masternodes. You can now easily deploy and manage Firo masternodes - no technical skills required. This makes it simple for anyone to participate in securing the Firo network without needing to handle server setups or command-line configurations.

Reminder - iNodez service shutting down

Just a reminder - iNodez has made the decision to shut down for good on December 31 - so make sure you withdraw your FIRO from their site as soon as possible. Thanks again to iNodez for the amazing service they have offered over the years.

Congratulations to @nodehubio

Congratulations to Nodehub for achieving a huge milestone of having 1000 Firo masternodes running on their servers. Thanks for being an important part of the $FIRO ecosystem!
NodeHub has been powering the $FIRO network with stability, one click setup, and high uptime masternode hosting at affordable prices since 2018.

FIRO at the Borneo Blockchain Convention 2025

$FIRO was present at the Borneo Blockchain Convention in Kuching, Sarawak. Both Poramin Insom and Reuben Yap were among the speakers at the event. It was a great two day event with talks, panel discussions, and Firo's booth crew sharing Firo’s privacy technology with students, builders, and blockchain enthusiasts. There were meaningful conversations, and the Firo project met new faces, and helped more people discover the importance of privacy in the crypto space.

A big thank you to everyone who dropped by our booth and engaged with us - your curiosity and support keep us moving forward.
