I’ve Been Wincing
Last week someone asked if my old tweets were stashed anywhere, since they discovered my account had been nuked into oblivion long ago, as it should.
I did have some of them archived and, while trying to decide what to do with them, ended up completely rebuilding my ancient rickety website called Fireland.
So now there’s a new homepage that summarizes my various projects over the centuries, and all the old stuff has been Wordpress’d so it’s actually legible on modern devices, which has never been the case. Have a look:

Fireland turns 31 next month, and if you ever have the opportunity to sift through your writing from that long ago, I highly recommend not doing that. It was quite the grueling adventure! I was really into taking little granules of honest feeling and absolutely burying them under mountains of overwritten metafiction and obscure references. Just so sweaty and desperate.
Before you even say it, I know! Nothing’s changed! Whatever! Sorry for being so consistent!
Anyway, there are a few things I want to point out while I have you here. First are the old tweets, which I almost forgot to include but then ended just up pasting them all onto one page:

Joshua Allen - The Morning News
TMN Contributing Writer Joshua Allen is a complex and exciting young man. He is a hard worker and always gives 110 percent. He’s pretty obviously an only child. He lives in Fireland, USA.
OK that’s it. Let me know what you’re up to. And yes my novel Chokeville is still available and still flawless:
Chokeville
One crooked city. One chaotic week. Two disaster sisters just trying to stay alive until payday.
