FERAL COMP CLUB 28 AUGUST
Hello avid computer touchers…
We are but ONE WEEK away... just confirming our little game plan!
Same place as usual, we are at MOKUM CAFE AND BAR, BRUNSWICK ON THE 28th OF AUGUST, 6PM TO 9:30 PM!
We’ve had a few back and forth chats against what we want to do next with the club, and we want to try out doing some actual work together at the event. Here’s the low down of how we are gonna run next week…
- saying hi and dinner (of course, also we gotta support the venue!)
- at about 6:45, i'll distribute some cards for us to write down what we wanna do that night, and i'll amass a working pile for us to body... double.. group? (COOL: This is similar to the Manuscript Writing Cafe that was on social media heaps in 2022 https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/apr/29/slackers-barred-testing-tokyos-anti-procrastination-cafe )
- pending talks or such, we'll get stuck into our little projects for about 30-60 minutes - the idea is that we can chat but make sure we give folks space to work it out a bit. IF YOU WANNA PRESENT TALKS, ping us on Discord ❤️
- then after, I will draw a few cards for a random chance for folks to share what they’re working on. If you don’t want to, that’s cool and we will pass it on to the next drawn card!
