🐣 Spring Break Next Week
Happy Wednesday to you! We're nearing the end of this season of Lent so I'm praying you are experiencing an increased closeness with Christ. I'm reminded of how sweet it is to be with Him.
We have three items this week! (283 words; ~1 minute read time)
🙏 ONE EASTER SERVICE (AND GOOD FRIDAY)
We have entered into Holy Week where the church marks Jesus' death and resurrection. We will hold two joint English services this weekend for worship and reflection.
- Good Friday service will be this Friday at 7:30pm in the DTC Chapel. We will spend time reflecting on Christ's sacrifice on the cross and receive communion together.
- Resurrection Sunday service will be on Sunday at 11:30am in the DTC Chapel. We will celebrate Christ's victory over sin and death together!
😋 As part of the Resurrection Sunday celebration, we will host a pre-service potluck in the gym from 10:00am-11:15am! Hope to see you there for food and fellowship!
2. 🗓️ UPCOMING CHURCH EVENTS!
Over the next few weeks, we have various activities available for you to join! These are all opportunities to participate within the larger FECC community.
- 🗡️ Sunday, April 27, 1:30pm, Main Sanctuary - Movie viewing of the film, The Forge!
- 🧹 Saturday, May 3, 9:30am, Church-wide - Spring cleaning and beautification! If you love to help clear out the clutter and junk at church, this is the day for you!
- 🏃🏻♂️ Saturday, May 17, 8:30am, Don Knabe Park - World Vision Global 6k Walk for Water. We'll be raising funds for those who don't have access to clean water! Sign up link here.
3. 🦆 DUCKWATER VBS
Our annual trip to Duckwater, NV for vacation Bible school will take place on June 14-21. Would love to have you join if you're available!
