Happy Thursday to you! I know, I'm late!
Thanks for remembering the staff in prayer last week! We'll be focusing on prayer in 2026!
We have five items this week! (344 words; ~1.5 minute read time)
1. 🚶🏻♂️ DEVOTIONS ON DISCIPLESHIP
We're in week 5 of our anniversary devotional and we're praying through the area of discipleship! May we put into practice what we learn and hear from God's Word!

2. 🙌 FELLOWSHIPS STARTING!
Tonight we will have our first fellowship meeting for Phileo at 7:30pm!
The Ohana fellowship will resume tomorrow at 7:30pm at church along with Sparkbuilders and the youth fellowship.
Next Friday will begin the college group at 7:30pm at church!
3. 🌎 URBANA 2025
College students and recent graduates are invited to join in the triennial Urbana Missions Conference being held in Phoenix, AZ! We would love to be able to sponsor some folks to be participate in this event.
- Dates are December 28, 2025 - January 1, 2026!
- Registration is $320 per person but the church will cover your fee if you decide to go! You'll just need to figure out room and board and transportation.

4. 👨🏻🏫 SUNDAY SCHOOL STARTS THIS SUNDAY
This Sunday at 10:00am in D107 starts our new Sunday school series on Tim Keller's book, The Prodigal Prophet. Come join this time of learning and spiritual growth as we talk about how God's love is demonstrated to us through Jonah's life.
5. 🗓️ UPCOMING CHURCH EVENTS
- 🛒 Our Children's Ministry will be hosting a Free Flea Market on Saturday, September 27 from 4-6pm in the gym. This will be a chance to hang out with other families and peruse through different items you can take home for free!
- 🙏 On September 28, we will have a joint worship service to celebrate our forty days of prayer for FECC! Service will begin at 10am and will be an opportunity for us to pray for our church and hear how God has been working.
