🍀 March Is Coming Up
Happy mid-week to you! All kinds of things going on!

🌍 ONE WEEK UNTIL MISSIONS MONTH
Sunday, March 9 will kick off FECC missions month. A Missional Church on Mission with God will be our theme for our Sunday messages. We will join together with the Mandarin, Cantonese, and English congregations for a joint worship on March 9 at 10:00am in the main sanctuary.
- The following Sundays in March will be focused on missions as seen through different Bible character.
- 🎟️ If you are planning on eating lunch at church on March 9, a lunch ticket must be purchased ahead of time. No lunch tickets will be available on March 9. The deacons will have a table set up for lunch tickets this Sunday.
2. ❤️ FELLOWSHIP THIS WEEK This being the last week of the month, most groups will be on break. College will continue to meet at 7:30pm!
3. 🅰 NEXT ALPHA SESSION
You are still welcome to join the next Alpha session as we talk about the church! Come join the conversation!

4. 🛁 BAPTISMAL SUNDAY
Our next baptismal service will be held on March 30. If you would like to be baptized or if you know of others who would like to be baptized, please let me know by March 16!
5. 🤲 OBSERVING LENT
The Lenten season begins next Wednesday, March 5. Lent is an opportunity to introduce the spiritual practice of fasting into our daily routine for the purpose of drawing near to God. As we have been discussing the spiritual practices, this season of Lent would be an opportunity for us to intentionally engage in fasting and to make room for God.
- 🛑 You could fast from social media, certain foods, certain types of music, or activities like watching YouTube and use the prompts to notice God.
- 🟢 You could commit yourself to reading the Bible, spending regular time in solitude, going offline one day a week, or investing time with a friend.
🤔 Take some time this week to think about what would be helpful for you!
