My apologies for last week's delayed email! I thought that I had sent it out but it was sitting in my draft folder until someone came up to me on Friday and said that they had not received any email. 😬 Should be back on track this week!
🛀🏼 Congratulations to our brother Matthew who was baptized this past Sunday! What a wonderful time of celebrating God's work!

1. 🎊 ANNIVERSARY SERVICE THIS SUNDAY
We will celebrate our church's thirty-sixth anniversary this Sunday at 10:30am in the main sanctuary! It will be followed by a meal prepared by our deacons and church volunteers. Please note this change in time!
2. 🍳 BIBLE AND BRUNCH
This Saturday, Jessica and Ethan will be hosting a brunch and Bible study at Jessica's home in Cerritos from 10am-noon. This will be a fantastic time to hang out and enjoy good literal and spiritual food together with fellow brothers and sisters. Please message Jessica if you are planning on joining!
3. 🚶➡️ BOOK OF THE WEEK
I picked up John Mark Comer's latest book, Practicing the Way. His previous books include The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry which I also found helpful for my own spiritual formation. Reading this book inspired me for the message this past Sunday as we talked about how the Jesus way of life is THE way of life that is best. Good read!
4. 🏅 OLYMPICS!!!
