Happy Wednesday to you!

⚽️ What a wet week it has been! Amy and I were out in the rain on Monday night to watch Sydney's soccer game. I still feel soggy from being there!

We have four items this week! (345 words; ~1.5 minute read time)

1. ❤️ GRATITUDE AND PRAYERS FOR THE CHAN FAMILY

A week and a half ago at a youth parent meeting, Pastor Jeff shared his resignation from his position as youth pastor effective after the end of the year. Here's Pastor Jeff:

Please pray for our family as I prepare to step down from my role as Youth Pastor at the end of December. This has been a difficult decision made after much prayer, and it comes from a desire to care for my daughter, who was born with a rare genetic condition and needs extra support, and to prioritize my family in this season. Pray for peace, wisdom, and God’s grace for our family and for the youth group during this transition.

❤️ We are so grateful to have had the Chan family be part of our community over the years. Please continue to lift them up in prayer in the new season they are entering!

2. 🛳️ FELLOWSHIP THIS WEEK

We have all the groups meeting this week! Come on out if you can!

• 🍔 Phileo fellowship - Thursday at 7:30pm at the Tan residence.
• 🌺 Ohana fellowship - Friday at 7:30pm at church.
• 🎓 College fellowship - Friday at 7:30pm at the Lee/Fan residence.
• 🖼️ Youth fellowship - Friday at 7:30pm at church.

3. 🦃 THANKSGIVING SUNDAY

Our church will hold its annual Thanksgiving service this Sunday, November 23 at 10am. This will be a joint service in the main sanctuary followed by the famous Thanksgiving potluck! Please note the schedule change for that weekend.

4. 🎁 CHRISTMAS SHOPPING WITH SCRIP!

As you prepare your Christmas gifts this year, keep in mind our church offers gifts cards for purchase through our scrip program. When you purchase a gift card to a store like Amazon, a percentage of the gift card value is donated to the church. You still receive the full value so it's a win for everyone!
