Hello to you on this lovely Thursday! Sorry for missing last week and the delayed newsletter this week! No excuses,... just getting through summer mode.

1. 🥳 FECC ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

This Sunday is our church's thirty-seventh anniversary worship service! We will have a combined worship time at 10:00am in the main sanctuary. Please make note of the schedule change!

• 🚙 Arrive early or park over at Cerritos College because it'll be crowded.
• 🌮 We will be catering from Taco Perro for our celebration lunch! Don't want to miss out on that! You can check them out here!

🧎🏻‍♂️ We will also be launching a church-wide forty days of prayer! A devotional guide written by all the FECC pastors will be distributed on Sunday so that we can all be praying together for FECC.

2. 🥹 THANK YOU!!

Thank you to everyone who served and helped at last week's Vacation Bible School and Family Carnival! We had a great festive atmosphere during the carnival and people enjoyed the time of connection and celebration! These outreaches wouldn't be as effective without your service, so thank you so much!!!

🏄🏻 Also glad the surf board game was a hit! It was fun watching folks try to stay up on the board!

3. 🛁 BAPTISM

Congratulations to Andrew, Grace, and Junior on their baptism last Sunday! If you missed it, you can catch their baptism on YouTube here. Include them in your prayers this week!

4. 🟩 DEFYING GRAVITY

Amy and I watched the movie Wicked last night and I got emotional. 🥲 I've seen the actual musical, but I thoroughly enjoyed the film. Didn't realize that it was only part one though. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Haha!
