5. 🏀 MAKING ROOM [UPDATE] nba

Spent the last 9 days staying away from sports news and updates to make more space for important things and to help my heart settle a bit. I did catch bits and pieces of sports from the TV's at the gym or at the restaurant while eating out with the family but it's been significantly less. How have I been able to survive this NBA playoff time?????

I can say it's been helpful for the restlessness of my heart. It hasn't been a monumental change, but it's been enough to keep me from freaking out on a day to day basis. It also keeps me from doomscrolling and wasting too much time trying to numb the stress away. So I'll keep the sports stuff aside at least until the summer conference is done. Then I'll re-evaluate how much sports I want to add back.

As a side note, sports aren't inherently bad. They just happen to be less helpful for me.

Have a great rest of your week! Praying God's favor upon you!
