The weather this weekend is looking absolutely incredible! There’s lots going on in the Bay Area this weekend, and we’re excited to be hosting Steeplechase on Sunday. Regardless of if you’re going to Steeplechase or not do go out, let your voices be heard, and bask in the sense of community.

Great San Francisco Steeplechase - Sunday, October 19

The sight of Explorers chasing carousels around the city brings me endless joy. This year it’s in the fall and it’s a celebration of storied whimsy. The field guide is bursting with stories and is the largest one we’ve ever made for an event. There will be prizes and laughter along the way.

When: Sunday, October 19th - 10:30am

Where: Meet at Pier 39 Topiary Sculpture (Note this is at the entrance to Pier 39 and different from years past)

Don’t forget: $15 cash (for all 3 carousels), clipper card (or a way to pay for muni), jaunty hat, water, snacks and a lunch.

Route: We’ll start at Pier 39, then head to Yerba Buena for carousel number 2 and lunch, then wrap in Golden Gate Park. All this finishing around 2:30pm.

Lunch: We’ll stop for lunch at Yerba Buena Gardens where you can either purchase from a nearby spot or bring your own.
