TL:DR - May 4th Steeplechase is being postponed.

The midnight oil is still burning at Explorers Guild HQ. Earlier, as plans were moving forward for the event tomorrow (actually make that today), a small questioned popped up… would the carousels be open in the rain?

The short of it is: No! According to our best intel, both Pier 39 and the Koret Children’s Carousels shut down during inclement weather. So even with the hardened spirit of Explorers looking to will fun and whimsy back to the city, the carousels just wouldn’t let us. With that, it’s with heavy heart that we postpone the May 4th Steeplechase event.

You win this round mother nature, but we’ll be picking another day soon, and we’ll still be trying for all four carousels! I hope the new date is met with the same enthusiasm as so many of you have already expressed.
