Hello Explorers!
Is it Spring yet? Well no… but certainly the nice weather between storms has been welcomed! We now have two events under the ol’ 2025 belt and looking ahead at more. Today’s dispatch is a look ahead at the spring, so mark your calendars and get ready for adventure!
Adventure Camp Playtest - this Sunday!
We are playtesting some games and immersive experiences for this spring’s Adventure Camp, and we need your help!!
If you don’t plan on coming to Adventure Camp (May 30-June 1st), definitely come to a playtest so you still get to play with us! If you are planning on attending, we can make sure there aren’t any spoilers in the activities you participate in.
This playtest will be outside at Precita Park, so prepare for moderate activity and wear shoes that will be comfortable on grass. There isn’t much shade so wear your hats and sunscreen. There aren’t a lot of chairs and benches, so bring something (like a picnic blanket) to take breaks on.
Sunday, February 16th, 1-4pm at Precita Park mission/Bernal SF, closest Bart: 24th St Station
Spring Roundup
We have a couple more events with dates ready to share, and some more in the initial planning stages whose dates will solidify soon. Tea Promenade, March 9th
Join the Explores Guild on whimsical journey through Golden Gate Park. Explorers will go from station to station, enjoying a cup of tea and a tasty bite. This adventure will be limited, so be sure to sign up when the registration goes out with the call to adventure, coming soon.
Adventure Camp, May 30 - June 1st
If you’ve heard our stories of grand adventures, mythical creatures, or expeditions to far off lands and have been wanting to join those, this is your heads up that the next big adventure is coming soon. Mark your calendar, find those you want to adventure with, and be ready to sign up when we release the registration information (we’ll give a heads up on the opening of registration once we have it).
Valentine Curio
Last Sunday was our Valentine Curio event, hosted by Belle Cunningham. Explorers gathered around a table and made notes for the Leeway (the inter-community delivery system) and for the post (the more traditional postal service that so many of us love). Many thanks to those of you who showed up and shared in cozy conversation and inspired crafting.
