Solstice Events Weather Update ~ ExGld
Hello Explorers!
Following yesterday’s email there were a number of inquiries about the various activities and the possible chance of rain looming. I’ve checked in to each one and here are the updates:
First of all, the Explorers Guild Lantern Curio will happen rain or shine! Lark and Belle are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to warm your bellies with vegan chili and your hearts with lantern crafting. Details for that remain the same: start at 3:30pm. Chili and craft supplies provided. Join the slack channel (#lantern-curio-2025) or email Lark to RSVP and get the exact address for this event (near Precita Park, SF).
Raining Chainsaw’s Night Parade is weather dependent and the organizers will decided if it’s happening by Saturday, 2pm. You can call (415)-WORD-BUG for updates.
Regarding my vague references to Magick, the word on the street is that it is rain or shine. You’ll still need to find more information on this from someone in the know, but this might also be the ideal opportunity to visit a crafting curio if you’re still keen on this adventure. Don’t gorget to wear all red or white.
Lastly, a personal note to all the various Explorers who reached out to me in the last 24 hours wanting to clarify information and make sure expectations are known, thank you! Your care for the guild and these events was obvious with each message. I love the solstice and I’m so happy to see so much whimsical activity in a time that is filled with so many other traditional holiday activities.
I hope you all have an excellent solstice and Semper Explorandum!
