We’re continuing to beat on the Adventure Camp drum. Something we’ve noticed is that there are a number of teams with three or four people, each are looking for just one or two more to join them. For those of you unsure about finding a full team, or if you’re someone looking to jump right into a grand adventure, this is my direct invitation to you: let us know who you are! We want to make sure all of you who have reached out to us get a chance to attend, so we’re trying our best to help make that happen.
With that in mind, we’ll be hosting an Adventure Camp Q&A and Mixer on April 2nd, 6-7pm. This video meeting is intended for existing and interested participants. The first half of the meeting will focus on your questions, while the second half will be a chance for some matchmaking. In the meantime, we still strongly urge you to register (even if you are just one or two people), and/or pop on our slack channel #adventure-camp-matchmaking and let everyone know who you are.
Play Testing: March 29 & April 6
One of the best parts of planning for Adventure Camp is getting to try out new games and experiences. Each time we hold a play test date we have a new set of mechanics that we’re looking for feedback on, so repeat testers are welcome. If you can’t come to the event, this is an awesome opportunity to see a bit of the process. If you do want to go to the event, this can also be a great way to potentially meet teammates.
Our next play testing date is this Saturday, March 29th, from 2 - 4:30pm at Precita Park (San Francisco). You can sign up for updates on the Partiful link, or just arrive ready to jump in and help out.
We’re also planning another play test date for Sunday, April 6th, 2-4:30pm at Snow Park (Oakland). This event also has a Partiful link.
