Now that Autumn is officially here, there are a number of Fall events happening, including Haunty Hats this Sunday. If you’re interested, be sure to mark your calendars and sign up.
Social Dancer Badge - Save the Date
On Saturday, November 2nd, we’re offering the first opportunity to earn the Social Dancer Badge. We’ll have more information on this event coming soon, but if this is enough to entice you, be sure to hold the evening of November 2nd.
Haunty Hats - This Sunday, October 20th!
Now that it’s October, you might be thinking about how to make your daily explorations a little more spook-tacular. Perhaps a more festive look would do the trick?
We’ve got you covered! We’ll help you take your Explorer hat from jaunty to haunt-y just in time for Halloween. The Explorers Guild will be hosting a Haunty Hat craft day on Sunday, October 20th, from 11am to 3pm in San Francisco near Precita Park. We’ll have abundant craft supplies and a limited selection of extra hats, as well as snacks and drinks. Feel free to bring your own craft supplies and hats to decorate, or any seasonal costume/craft projects you want to work on. All ages welcome!
We only ask that you let us know of your interest so that we can prepare the space for you.
If you’re still looking for more to do, you’ll be able to find Dr. Professor and a few other Explorers at Oakland’s Autumn Lights Festival throughout this weekend. There’s also rumblings of a band of Explorers taking on the Minotaur’s Labyrinth on October 26th, (this is found on the banter channel in our Slack).
