Jupiter Can Help Us Right Now
a guide toward affirmations of life
This morning I was preparing for the astrology readings I am doing today. And I had this feeling I wanted to share. It’s the feeling I get when I look at a chart. It’s a feeling of awe at the mystery of the person.
And the question I am often asking myself, which I usually don’t consciously think about at this point, is “What do I need to see here, to share with this person, that will support them the most? What information is being offered here, that will buoy this person, affirm this person’s life, remind them of what they already know, remind them of their incredible specificity, beauty, divinity, mystery?”
It’s such a beautiful thing to get to ask, to contemplate! And I want to share one small piece of what the answer can be, in case it could buoy you.
Because wow these times. I mean it’s almost boring to say “these times” at this point, it would be boring if it wasn’t so horrifying, right?!
At this season in my life it feels like what I can offer the collective is loving vigilance in regards to my own focus. So my commitment to life is about going toward the life-affirming thoughts and actions. Over and over and over. It’s just beyond anything I can even comprehend, the horror show of living in the usa right now. It’s a koan. What I mean by that word is the spirit of putting aside the conscious understanding for now. Because it’s not happening. I won’t understand. And so where do I direct my energy? I write about this every third newsletter or so. Because I need it so bad. I need to remind myself of my agency. It starts with my thoughts, my energetic field.
One direction I’d like to point you toward—to support your focus toward life-affirmation—is Jupiter. This massive blast of a planet can offer information toward these questions:
Where do you find your faith? Is it in feeling (water signs)? Is it in inspiration and vision (fire signs)? Is it in earth itself and doing (earth signs)? Is it in communication and relationships (air signs)?
What is the aesthetic flavor of your faith?
How do you connect to something larger than yourself?
What are the locations and aesthetics of the bridge between yourself and the rest of life?
Jupiter is a guide energy. It’s guiding you toward access to your own unique sense of belonging. It’s guiding you toward what feels like your specific expansive participation in life.
We need Jupiter right now! We need our focus to be on what supports life, in the spheres in which we can participate. We need less attention on what is not working and a re-(over and over) commitment to LIFE. This is how it appears to me. Look at your Jupiter (again?) and see what it has to show you. Let it guide you! See what happens! I love you either way and I’m grateful for your participation, especially the ways you are existing beautifully without even knowing it.
