Our next game is The Incident at Galley House!
First of all, we wanted to extend a huge thank you to all of our fans who have spread the word about The Roottrees are Dead. We’re a very small team and with your support it has exceeded our wildest expectations.
Earlier this year, someone dropped a link to a free text game called Type Help on our Discord, and it really blew up! Like The Roottrees are Dead, it was a complex puzzle that involved taking notes and making connections, and slowly piecing things together in a satisfying way.
We reached out to its developer, William Rous, and started talking about what would be involved in remastering it for a release on Steam. One thing led to another, and now we’re delighted to announce that Evil Trout Inc.’s next game is The Incident at Galley House!
Besides the brand new title, the game will have:
A polished user interface, with full controller and Steam Deck support
A brand new visual novel presentation for game content, with professional voice acting and illustrations.
An original spooky soundtrack
A mysterious machine to play around with
