everything else: wrapped
dear internet,
yesterday i sent an email from mailchimp straight to my trash folder, and then i saw a tweet that made me run to retrieve it, and learnt that tinyletter will be closing down in february, and this avenue—and its archives—will vanish. i was suddenly, shockingly bereft. i am a giver-upper: this tinyletter has been one of the only things i’ve managed to do consistently for more than a year. i started it in february 2020, in every way a different world; and since then i’ve written to you from three cities, four apartments, and every kind of weather. i’m not really sure what’s next, i have till february to decide, and i’ll let you know when i do; for now i only feel disproportionately fragile, like kathleen kelly going to work when she knows she’s going to close her store. i’ve loved writing you these tiny letters.
love,
t
