dear internet,

today i don't know what to write, because i am resisting so much the personal essay of the present, only of course anything i write will feel like it is a personal essay of the present, which is just another way in which this week has felt like being stuck. i hope you are all doing okay. today i woke up at 4.30am to watch a live play reading with marisa tomei and oscar isaac and then i cried about theatre for a bit and then i went back to sleep to the sound of birds waking up. i am currently looking after two different sets of cats on two different phone games, and they are all thriving and indignant at my love for them. i am mad at sally rooney hate discourse but not energetic enough to write anything about it. i think you should read this poem.
