everything else: in defense of

• novels that many people like
• novels that many people dislike, but you personally like them
• pop music
• at least one song by the beatles
• at least one song that tells you to put your hands up in the air
• movie theatre fountain coke
• coke zero
• food that does not look instagrammable
• food that you kind of only made because it was instagrammable
• terrible movies from the 80s/90s, but everyone had great blowouts and there was that soft yellow lighting
• the tv show friends
• the tv show new girl
• any sitcom that makes you laugh, even if you know it's kind of problematic, but it is okay to just laugh at the funny bits and acknowledge that other bits are not good
• romcoms
• disaster movies
• doing yoga in your pajamas
• not doing yoga but still being in your pajamas
• never having watched fight club
• but also knowing that that doesn't make you better than people who have watched fight club
• except you are better than the boys at parties who judge you for not having watched fight club
