dear internet,

these last couple of weeks:

i'm thinking about: is anyone thinking these days?

i watched: the season premiere of killing eve. the series premiere of run—i just love a show that's under half an hour, and especially one which has the good sense to cast merrit wever and domhnall gleeson and, as i just discovered from imdb, archie panjabi?! relatedly, the first three episodes of the good wife, for the second time—there's nothing like a procedural! i continue to be enthralled by the terrible bravo show family karma.

i listened to: coeur de pirate.  the cafe sounds on my white noise app (i know, i know).

i cooked: banana pancakes off a recipe i saw on instagram: the batter is made with a banana, an egg, and 1/4 cup of whatever flour you have on hand. it's quick and delicious and i am rationing my last box of strawberries as accompaniment. 

i saw: my friendly neighbourhood cat, Long Cat, who comes up to find me when i walk to the market. once Long Cat brought me another cat to say hi; yesterday a friendly dog, who wagged his tail and followed me to the store but had disappeared by the time i came out bearing biscuits.
