::Alt Text Challenge:: 1.7
Last day today.

[ Hi, I'm John-Paul Flintoff. This is a pop-up series of emails about writing Alt Text. You can unsubscribe at any time. ]

Writing Alt Text for landscapes, especially when there are no people in them, is hard. I'm really delighted about the standard of your entries. Thank you.
I've taken the first I got in response to yesterday's challenge and added it as Alt Text on my website.
I'm sending you another picture today, and of course I'll be delighted if you feel like suggesting Alt Text for it. But more than that, I'd like to know what (if anything) you have got out of this series.

For me, this last week (or so) has confirmed how much I like to publish time-limited pop-ups newsletters. And how much I enjoy setting little challenges, whether or not lots of people accept them.
It's also given me some reassurance about what I would have written myself as Alt Text, and some surprises when people see things in my drawings that I hadn't seen.
I'll definitely do another series of Alt Text Challenges soon; it won't be landscapes next time.
But what did you get out of this series? I'd love to know.
