::Alt Text Challenge:: 1.5
Day Five - and ha! As soon as I say that replies are falling, and getting faster, the opposite happens.
.
[ Hi, I'm John-Paul Flintoff. This is No 5 in a pop-up series of seven not-quite daily emails about writing Alt Text. You can unsubscribe at any time. ]
.
Here's the first reply I received to that picture of the City of London from Hampstead Heath, shown (in close-up) as actual Alt Text on my website:
Other that came in fast are listed below, on the same page.
.
Up Next:
"Tazeen's Fruit Shop, Green Lanes".
This too is of north London, but it's quite unlike that picture of the Heath. I haven't yet posted it on my site. As it happens, though it's not relevant to your task writing Alt Text, this is the shop where my friend Tazeen sent me to buy what she promised are the very best mangos in London.
They were, indeed, good mangos.
That was about two years ago, not long before she died (in the first week of November), and I've always felt very warmly towards the shop since then.
I'm not sure which of the bright stripes of colour you see here were mangos.
.
Your challenge is to reply with 30 words of Alt Text describing this picture, as if for somebody who can't see the screen.
.
Reply or not: enjoy your day!
