New titles from Lone Fox Publishing (September)
How was your summer? Hope it all went well.
Did you enjoy the black and white photography from the last issue? More photography projects forthcoming both of my own images and historic research. See for example the early photography in this issue with images from 1890-1910.
Trying out a slightly different format for the newsletter after the summer break. Hope you like it.

The British Isles in Colour: South West England and the Scilly Isles | Lone Fox Publishing
A new series of books showcasing Photochrom photography, an early type of colour photography that brings to life scenes from an era that we usually visualise in black and white. The technique was mainly used for postcards and as a result the photographers concentrated on subjects of interest to the visitor and hopefully the recipient of their card; beautiful locations and the seaside are natural favourites, but also historic and civic landmarks, social scenes, parks and train stations. First in the series: South West England and the Scilly Isles, featuring the counties of Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset.
- Southern England and the Channel Islands featuring the counties of Hampshire, Sussex, Kent, Berkshire, Oxford, Buckinghamshire and Essex, plus London.
