Hi friends,
I'm not going to get deep into the reasons I'm here now instead of on Substack, but they are ample and easily googleable. Substack has proven itself to be disingenuous about their claims of protecting trans users of their platform, and since my newsletters have always been free and I have nothing to lose, I'm out.
If you wanna still keep getting occasional notes from me, you don't have to do anything. The whole list transferred over automatically (thanks buttondown!).
In the meantime, I want to thank my sibling Lolly for their amazing art based off the title of this newsletter. I'm aware of the, uh, complexity of my newsletter title being taken from a Rich poem, and maybe I'll write about that sometime soon.
How are you? We're about a month out from the end of the semester, and I'm a little dazed by that thought. Vax #2 is happening in two weeks. Maybe there's an end in sight?
