Grant Funding for Greenwich and Lewisham Private Tenants
**We have been tasked at SELCE to help private tenants gain access to grant funding to improve the energy efficiency of their property.
We are specifically targeting Lewisham and Greenwich-based private tenants living in properties with EPC band of D or below. Private tenants who are on low income, or are on benefits, are eligible for the grant.
Low-income tenants living in energy inefficient properties are most exposed to the effects of high energy prices. With the future unknown, now is the time to improve a property’s energy efficiency, helping safeguard tenants from the cost-of-living crisis.
The Local Authority Delivery Scheme: Phase Three (LAD3) grants tenants up to £7,500 to improve the energy efficiency of their property. Improvements may come in the form of insulation, double or triple glazing, solar PV, for example. These will be determined by a survey from RetrofitWorks – they will be installed by trusted contractors.
