Sleazin' of the Witch
Some new art and some new crowdfunds and some new projects and some new words and and and
Hello! And also hi. It’s finally actually almost nearly getting cold outside. It’s approaching the temperature that will require me to turn the heat on… but not just yet! For now, I’m crunching dead leaves under my feet and leaving dead feet under my crunch.
Are you seeing this and you haven’t subscribed yet? I would recommend doing so now by clicking the button below:
I don’t want to waste your precious time. You must be busy voting or holiday shopping or taking down halloween decorations or screaming as loud as you can in a public place. So without any more delay…
Dieku Podcast Appearance
One of my new roles as the official Art Director for Liminal Horror is that I make public appearances and put on a good face for “the company”. So I was honored to appear alongside one of my Liminal Horror partners, Josh Domanski, on the ever popular Dieku Podcast. Check it out below:
We talk Liminal Horror, but mostly about Halloween, and Josh drops significant knowledge on designing and running horror games. Go check it out!
PHYSICAL WORLD
Every month for my Patreon, I make a print and 2-4 stickers for all $10+ subscribers on the Physical World tier.
This month I decided to make some witch art, as there are just not enough witches in my portfolio currently.
I also posted a little preview of the 3D model I made as the base over on my Bluesky account:

Mothership Month
This month marks the first (I believe) MOTHERSHIP MONTH. Lot’s of great projects coming out and crowdfunding this month. I am part of 2 of them
The first, which I recently finished the artwork for, is a pamphlet called The Iron Coffin. It’s a game made by Sam Seer of Severed Hand.
Here’s a full view of the piece I made for this awesome little setting for Mothership 1e.

The 2nd game I’m part of, and doing even more art for (but haven’t started yet…I will report back…) is Devil’s Due.
This one is going to be much more packed and full of contributors (up to 20 last I checked). Here’s a description from the Backerkit page:
Curious what we’re packing into this space pirate book? Check out what Devil’s Due features:
10 unique pirate captains and crews, each with a statted spaceship, goals, and tactics.
The scrappy city of Azimuth and Flotsam Station above, anchored to the stars by the space elevator Charon’s Ferry, including:
10 city locations with NPCs and built-in adventure hooks
Hexcrawl procedures for exploring the Wilds of Devil’s Due
Shops and clinics with new cybermods, weapons, and equipment
7 adventures and 2 adventure frameworks on the pirate haven planet of Devil’s Due and across the Void. Salvage artifacts from a wrecked ship sinking into another dimension, scour a covert corporate research station to steal their horrifying new tech, outrun the competition to deliver some VIPs in a high-stakes prisoner transport, make a wager with a god to double your reward, and more!
4 random tables filled with the bounties needed to answer your pirate questions: Who's that pirate merc eyeing us down? What's that weird gadget? Where can you find your next prey? How did you get press-ganged into service?

Burger 2: Tissue Damage
One last thing that’s currently crowdfunding that I did some work for that needs a little boost is the comic Burger #2. I did a variant cover you may have seen around:
There’s 9 days left on the campaign as of this email, and it’s getting close to funding, but it needs a little push to get it over the line!

That’s all for now. Class dismissed. There was a lot I wanted to share this month, but a lot of it was just not in a finished enough state to be comprehensible, but keep up with the newsletter and you will soon find out what great treasures I will share.
