Podcasts, Computer Games, TTRPGs, and More
Hello, People of February!
We've survived into the 2nd month of the year two thousand and twenty four. Congratulations on your enduring spirit! Here's some news from me.
Blind Shovel podcast
I was interviewed last month by Michael Olivo--a great artist and host of the Blind Shovel podcast. We talk about my work, how I got into comics and TTRPGs, dreaded NFTs and AI, and the Cartoonist Cooperative. You can listen to it on Spotify or whatever podcast app you prefer (I use Pocket Casts myself). Listen to it here!
Grist
I was commissioned last month by Chironex Studios to do Steam and Banner artwork for a really awesome computer game called Grist.
This was a really fun piece to do, and an interesting challenge because I had to make something that could be cropped both vertically and horizontally and still look good. The game itself is a lot of fun and has a really cool ascii aesthetic and I wanted to do it justice.
For anyone curious about what exactly the game is about, here's what the description from the Steam page:
A sci-fi digital boardgame. Recruit crewmembers to build a deck of Order Cards, then use those cards in combat and tests of skill in order to grow your abilities, overcome challenges, and defeat powerful entities hiding the terrible secrets of the cyber-plague.
Fans of both CRPGs and TTRPGs will be sure to get a kick out of this one.

SNAKE WOLF 3
Or as the full title reads: "Terror of the Stratosfiend : SNAKE WOLF 3 (Mega-Dungeon)".
I've been working on art for this one since early last year. The developer (Orbital Intelligence) always gives me the most fun assignments and has bonkers ideas, so this will be sure to be the wildest Dungeon Crawl Classics megadungeon ever!
An endless dive into a Mega-Dungeon—chases a man who dared to touch a god! A paranoid, conspiracy laden, Level 1-6+ adventure for DCC.
In addition to the cover piece, I also did this group shot that I'm especially proud of:
It's Kickstarting right now and as I'm writing this it just funded! There's still 25 days to go on the campaign, so you still have plenty of time to back.
