Happy May! The month of flowers and approaching warm weather and severe allergies. My life has been consumed by new cat energy because we welcomed Edie (our 9 month old goofball tuxedo kitty) into our home. However, I did manage to get some work done last month anyway.

ORGY OF THE BLOOD LEECHES: Thicker Than Blood
I was commissioned to make a movie poster style image and cover for the ashcan edition of the upcoming Mothership module ORGY OF THE BLOOD LEECHES from RV Games. This was a just a quick one, but I think it turned out great! You should all keep an eye out for this module if you're a body horror Cronenberg freak. Personally, I hope to find a group to play it with once it's released.
LIMINAL HORROR NEWS
Lots to mention regarding Liminal Horror this month!
First thing I want to show off is the current progress on the cover for the upcoming Deluxe Edition. I still need to add the typesetting, but the art is more or less completed. What do you all think so far? I'm trying to reference the original cover while also elevating it (sorry, I know we're all sick of 'elevated horror').
Also, in tandem with the Twisted Horror Classics Jam which launches in a couple weeks (May 14th to be exact), I've put my Emo Sludge Spot Art Pack on a deep discount of 60% off for the duration of the jam. I was also commissioned to produce some creature designs for an upcoming 3rd party supplement for Liminal Horror that hasn't been announced yet. I'll be sure to update here when it is though, and I may be making some more work for it as well.

It's a site collecting all of the supplements for Liminal Horror, both official and 3rd party, and in every language available. It's a great resource and if you're a Liminal Horror fan you MUST check it out (NOW! GO NOW!).
CARTOONIST COOPERATIVE NEWS
As you may know, I'm one of the founders of the Cartoonist Cooperative and a current member of the Steering Committee. Yesterday (May 1st) was May Day--the labor rights holiday--and
to celebrate the members of the Steering Committee (including myself) hosted a livestream to present the 2023 Worker Survey; a survey we conducted on income for comics makers last year which had over 100 respondents. Click here to watch the recording! It's a great way to learn what challenges cartoonists are currently facing economically.
We also announced recently that we have committed to PACBI, the cultural arm of the Boycott, Divest, and Sanction (BDS) movement. You can read our statement on that here.
