Smash Mouth was right... the years start coming and they don't stop coming. How on earth is it December?? July feels so close in my rearview mirror that I can't believe the back half of the year has passed so fast.
Quick thank you to everyone who came out to my show at the New York Public Library!!! It was such a beautiful lil evening and I'm grateful to have had so many lovely spaces to share my music in this year.

I love Spotify Wrapped!! I love to see my own listening habits, I love to see my friends listening habits, and maybe most of all I love to see the stats of who's listened to my music this year!!!!!!
From the bottom of my heart thank you to everyone who's spent time with my tunes this year. It is always unbelievable to process these kinds of numbers. Thank you thank you thank you, I love you all.
That being said, as much as I love these fun little graphics, every year I gotta get up on my little soapbox and remind folks that Spotify barely pays out any royalties to artists (0.004 CENTS per stream, to be exact), so if you vibed to any of my tracks (or any other small artist's!!) this year, I highly recommend sending a dollar on Bandcamp (Bandcamp Friday is tomorrow!!) so we can keep making tunes for you to enjoy in 2023!!!
Art I've Been Enjoying Lately (And All Year):
Unsurprisingly, Harry Styles and The 1975 were at the top of my personal Spotify Wrapped. FKA Twigs, Beyonce, and Raveena took the other spots in my Top 5. Sometimes my top artists of the year can reflect periods of hyperfixations where I listened to one track 300 times in a day and never again, but this year I think it does align with my Top 5 albums of 2022!! Twigs and Raveena put their albums out towards the beginning of the year and I consistently went back to revisit them. What a great year for music!!! I passed my goal of listening to 52 new albums this year, and am excited to post my lil Best Of reviews on my instagram at the end of the month.
