  2. It also increases the likelihood that it will appear on more people's discover weekly algorithmic playlist!!!

  3. The song will appear in your favorites the moment it drops! No need to search it up or set a reminder on your calendar- you will have it in your library already!

Little Joys

Not gonna lie, the past few weeks have been a bit of a rough time!! My freelancing orders have decreased dramatically, so I am begrudgingly applying for other part time jobs. Financial stress is the worst stress!! (You can still place an order for any custom song HERE, or send a dollar or two HERE if you desire!)

Life is still very beautiful though, and I am trying to hold the beauty and the difficulty in both of my hands in balance.

  • Last weekend I saw Caroline Polachek at Radio City!!!! It was so refreshing to be in an audience so truly locked in to the music, minimal phones out, singing loud to each song. Caroline is a vocal force to be reckoned with, and it's so inspiring to me personally to see someone blend pop, classical training, and avant garde music so seamlessly, all while coming into her own in her late 30s. (I have time!!! I can calm down!!!) I emerged from the concert feeling like I had emerged from a chrysalis- new.

  • I recently ran a game of Wanderhome for a new group of people which was a delight! Wanderhome is a cozy pastoral roleplaying game about a group of anthropomorphic animalfolk wandering from town to town doing good deeds, meeting the locals, and learning about the verdant small magics abound. It's a great beginner ttrpg if you have been looking to try a new low-stakes, mechanic-light, roleplay-heavy game!!

  • I've been taking a beginner improv class at The Pit this month!! It's been so fun!! I love to play pretend!!!

I'm glad you're here.

Down the drain,

Em
