are you ready to go? (single announcement and fall shows)
hey there apple strudels...
New Music Next Month!!!
I am so so SO excited to officially announce that my next single, 'teenage dream / back of a car' will be out on October 12th!!!! This one has been a long time coming and can't wait for it to finally be in people's ears. I made a playlist just for you readers that contains some of the ~vibes~ of the new track.
If you use Spotify, please please click through this link to pre-save my song before it comes out! Pre-saves help send a message to Spotify that people are interested in my music, which helps raise my chances of getting added to official Spotify playlists!! That's major for small independent artists like me. Plus it means you'll get notified right when the track drops so you can be one of the first to listen.

Fall for Live Music
I've got a few upcoming shows this season!! More details below. Hope to catch you at at least one xx
Abbey Road: Live in Concert - Fri Oct 7th, 7pm
I'm playing a few Beatles songs as one of the lineup of openers before my friend Matty Greg's band plays the entirety of the Abbey Road album!! The show is at Arlene's Grocery in NYC, and there's also a livestream link if you're out of town!! Tix here
The Local NY - Wed Oct 12th, 8pm
Come celebrate the release of teenage dream / back of a car at The Local NY! This hostel bar in LIC, Queens is one of my fave spots to play- show is totally free, drink purchase encouraged!
NYPL Presents: Corner Space Live - Fri Nov 18th, 6pm
So so stoked to be playing a set at the New York Public Library! I'm playing an hour set in midtown at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library, and I'll have CDs for sale there (!!?). Free show!!

Art I've Been Enjoying Lately:
I attended Harry Styles' final night of his sold out 15 night residency at Madison Square Garden last week! The energy was absolutely insane, and it was really special to be a part of. Every attendee got a feather boa, and he was surprised with a banner representing his record-setting consecutive run. Wish I could be at Harry's House every month.
My internet pal Sammy Copley released an EP this month called 'Little Box' that is so absolutely tender and lovely. If you need a good wholesome cry, I cannot recommend enough
Can't stop thinking about my dreamy birthday dinner that I had at Brooklyn restaurant Dinner Party. (good food is art!!!) A prix fix menu of toasted sourdough and blue crab, a pluot gaspacho, a summer bean ragout over corn polenta with delicata squash, and a strawberry chiffon pie with rye gingerbread crust. I'll be thinking about that pie forever.
At a later date I'll wax poetic about my birthday, but I've been so busy this past few weeks I haven't had time to marinate in it. I'm busy for all the right reasons- business is truly booming (I have to keep turning my availability off on Fiverr because I have TOO MANY orders), and I am spending lots of time with friends. And right now I'm running late to a Carly Rae Jepsen concert. So. Another time. Speak soon.
As the leaves change,
Em
