hi hello hey as august slips away,
it's been a minute. mostly, that's from a practical perspective, as it's been quieter on the number of things I need to promote front. but I've got one show coming up, and wanted to check in, so here goes it.

SUMMER JOYS
Hot dogs at a baseball game. Ice cream anywhere anytime. Troye Sivan's new single "Rush". Rita's water ice. Dressing up for the Barbie movie. Singalongs at a new open mic night. Seeing the ocean as a playful being. Celebrating 3/4ths of my good friends' birthdays between June 30th and August 16th. Watching an 107 year old on the dance-floor at my grandfather's annual WWII division reunion. Playing cornhole. Homemade black bean burgers, sweet potato fries, and oven roasted radishes. The sun still shining at 7pm. Street fairs all around the city. My very first improv jam. Shouting into the night "will it ever be okay again?" and hearing the answer in the throngs of bodies on the subway, how the birds always come back to the tree outside my kitchen window, and how the moon looks even bigger after it's been gone.
