I’m so dang excited about this, folks.

For quite a while now, I’ve been writing new songs and thinking, “Wow, I’d love to record that sometime.” Like, a LOT of new songs. My longlist (this is like a shortlist but longer) of what could potentially go on my next album has 25 songs on there. The last time I released a solo effort was Acoustic Sessions in 2023, and that’s – well, that’s a long time!

Long enough, in fact. I’m ready to record the next album. And I need your help to do it.

I’m crowdfunding this album, the same way I did with The New World in 2021 (how…. was it this long ago….), raising money for recording, mixing, mastering, album art, music videos, PR, CDs, vinyl, and all the other assorted costs of Releasing Music Into the World. I’ve actually already got studio dates booked! I start recording this album next week. It’s all happening.

The Kickstarter campaign to fund the album launches on April 1st. Can you please go to the pre-launch campaign page and sign up to get notified when the campaign kicks off?

I will definitely also email you on that day. (And post on social media, and hire a skywriter to put the Kickstarter link up there to make sure nobody misses it, etc.) But signing up for pre-launch helps with a campaign the same way pre-saving a song helps with a release. It tells the Website People that folks are excited about my campaign, and it increases the chances that Day One of the launch will be a big success. I really really want this campaign to be a big success!!!
