Remembering these words as I work to stay open…. even as, on a cellular level, my heart and body attempt to shut down and off.
The easy path is to turn away; to disconnect and remain numb to life. But I stubbornly refuse to take the easy path. I adamantly refuse to turn away from life and all that it includes.
Please, everyone, stay sensitive to life. Be broken. Stay open. Be filled & emptied. Fall in love with life anyway.
