Dear Yoga Students & Coaching Clients,
Things are a'changing and I am going with the flow! As several of you already know, I recently learned that the building that houses The Apiary (my sweet little studio and office space in the ever-growing Scott's Addition area of Richmond, VA) is going to be sold. We don't know when or what that might mean as tenants but we do know that a shift will occur. Along with that tangible change, I've been feeling to pull to make some changes to how I "operate" as a yoga teacher and a coach {if you're curious to read more about that, I posted a blog about it}. So, as these two things have aligned, I find myself here, making this announcement:
May 31st will be my last day working out of my current space, The Apiary. Moving forward I will be operating out of an amazing space called The Broad (209 N. Foushee Street). If you're not already familiar with The Broad, you should be!). So, what does this mean for you? Let me explain...
For my yoga students:
I will be teaching only ONE group class each week which will be on Thursdays from 9:30-10:30am. This class will be an enrollment ONLY class, meaning if you want to attend, you’ll need to enroll for each 8-week session (I will have a 4 class option as well). If you are interested in getting on my list for that, please email me (click here OR reply to this email). I will send you the details directly and answer any questions you may have. Space will be limited and enrollment will be on first come first serve basis.
Beyond this one weekly class, I plan to offer more opportunities for deeper work through workshops, special classes, and group programs. These will all be aimed at supporting you in your yoga practice (wherever you are doing it), exploring the elements of a physically safe and supportive practice, as well as teaching you how to “do” the yoga inside of the yoga practice.
For my coaching clients:
For those of you who meet with me in-person, The Broad has an awesome private room which we will utilize for our coaching sessions. As my guest, you are also welcome to hang out before or after our session to utilize the space to work for a bit, enjoy some coffee or tea, or check out their awesome collection of books. If, however, we are set up for Zoom calls, nothing changes! I'll see you on the interwebs :)
While I'm sad to close the door on The Apiary and what beauty has grown out of there, I am also ridiculously excited for what's in store as I move forward in this new way. I can't wait to see what unfolds and I sincerely hope it'll include you in some way.
